Course content

what will you learn?

Cybersecurity training for yachts is divided into two essential modules. The first module explores the specific vulnerabilities of yachts, the types of attacks possible, and offers practical solutions for securing onboard systems, while integrating IMO 2021 regulations. The second module is customized to the profiles of captains and officers, focusing on adapted case studies, crew awareness, and best practices for securely managing mobile devices. Together, these modules aim to reinforce onboard cybersecurity and promote proactive, collective management of digital risks.

Topics Covered:

– A yacht’s weak points

– Types of attack

– Good practices and solutions

– Taking action in event of danger

– IMO 2021 cybersecurity regulations

Audience: all crew members, all levels. Essential for captains and officers

This training takes the form of an à la carte workshop according to the profiles and experiences of the participants (captains and officers). Prior to the training, we will identify with you the topics you wish to cover.

Practical cases “à la carte” according to expectations. We select these cases together so that they make sense and are useful for everyone. We take care not to reveal confidential aspects, which we debrief individually when useful.

– How to act with mobiles (smartphones, tablets) to avoid major risks

– Cyber briefings for every new crew member
