The RYA Powerboat Level 2 course is a two-day entry-level course, recognized by the UK MCA as a certificate of competence for the operation of small powerboats, and by most European authorities for the operation of small craft under 10 meters.
The certificate issued will indicate the type of boat on which the training was carried out.
This qualification also enables successful candidates to apply for the International Certificate of Competence (ICC).
Please note that English licenses are no longer recognized under the Monegasque flag. If you wish to register your boat under the Monegasque flag, please consult our coastal license.
Personal Watercraft, also known as Jet Skis, are fun, exciting and fast. The RYA PWC Proficiency Course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to manoeuvre confidently and ride safely at higher speeds with an understanding of stopping distances.
The course will include explanations of local regulations, coastal navigation, operating procedures and use of safety equipment.
You have the option of joining group courses; however, if you prefer to learn on board your vessel, this is absolutely possible and is at the very heart of what we do.
